  • Accessibility

The Rubin Museum of Art welcomes all visitors. In addition to meeting the standards of physical accessibility, the Museum also offers events and programs to accommodate all audiences on a regular basis.

Senior Day

On the first Thursday of every month the Rubin Museum of Art welcomes older adults (65 and older) to receive free admission to the galleries (regularly $14).

Since opening its doors to the public in October 2004, the Rubin Museum has worked to provide programming, events, and resources for senior audiences.

Mobility Aid Accessibility

All public areas at the museum are accessible by elevators that connect all seven public floors, including several ADA-compliant restrooms.
