The Rubin Free Seniors Day

Every Month, All Day
On the first Monday of every month the Rubin Museum of Art welcomes older adults (65 and older) to receive free admission to the galleries (regularly $5), guided visits of the galleries, tickets to film screenings, and a 10% discount on selected items in the museum's shop and café.

The museum is open on Mondays from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Tibetan Medicine and Art: An Integration - A talk exploring Tibetan medicine, its relationship to Western medicine, and how medical concepts are expressed in the art of the Himalayan region
Auspicious Stitches - A weekly art-making workshop that focuses on needlework, appliqué, and other fiber arts
Free Seniors Day Film - A screening of a Himalayan-themed film
Senior Writing Workshop - Reflect on your personal history and make art-to-self connections in museum exhibitions by writing about journeys in life. This program begins in the spiral lobby of the museum. To reserve a spot, please e-mail email@example.com.
Taste of RMA - A guided, themed tour through the galleries
