The Rubin Yoga Class
Member Price: $18.00
How do you find balance?
That is the question we are asking throughout the museum this spring through the exhibition, Bodies in Balance: The Art of Tibetan Medicine. We offered the query to some of our favorite yoga teachers who hail from studios in our Chelsea neighborhood and beyond. They each created a yoga class in response. Come experience yoga as a tool for finding balance, strength and flexibility, not only in your body, but in your mind and spirit, as well.
Doors at 10:15 a.m. Classes are open to all levels of experience. Please bring a yoga mat. Your ticket includes a free post-class gallery tour of Bodies in Balance: The Art of Tibetan Medicine, and gallery admission for the rest of the day.
Discounts of 10-25% are available to Rubin Museum members.
Part of Nourish, Practice, Know, a series of events and workshops that explore the power of food, contemplative practice, and life-long learning to help us bring our bodies into balance.
