The act of drawing can offer a new understanding of the world. In this three-hour workshop participants will use drawing as a way to contemplate the sacred art in the Museum’s galleries.

Working with pencils, pens, and simple coloring tecniques, participants will explore how to choose their subjects, simplify the complexity of what they see, and combine drawings with words that will hopefully bring forth fresh insight to these works. No previous art experience is necessary. A beginner’s mind is all that is needed. All materials will be provided.

This program will meet in the Education Center and move to the galleries.

    *Please Note*
There are a limited number of tickets to this event.
