The Rubin Diagnosis I: Pulse
Tibetan pulse diagnosis owes much to Chinese sphygmology, and in this workshop two practioners of Tibetan medicine explain techniques. A healthy pulse comprises five beats of the physician’s respiratory cycle. Come and check yours! Visiting physician Amchi Tenjing Bista, a Tibetan doctor from Lo Monthang, Mustang, Nepal, and the principal of the Lo Kunphen Tibetan Medical School will conduct the session with further commentary by New York-based doctor of Tibetan Medicine, Dr. Eliot Tokar.
A diagnostic series offered to deepen your appreciation of the exhibition Bodies in Balance: The Art of Tibetan Medicine.
