For Visitors Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
American Sign Language Tours
Deaf Guides offer American Sign Language tours of the museum's collection specifically designed for individuals who are deaf and hard of hearing. These tours afford all of our visitors a chance to learn about the cultures, history, religions, and sacred art of the Himalayan region.
If you have questions or would like to schedule a private ASL tour, please contact the Manager of Visitor Experience and Access Programs at 212.620.5000 x336.
Upcoming ASL Tours
Monthly ASL tours will resume in October.
ASL tours take place on the first Sunday of the month from 2-3 pm. Check the calendar for details.
