On the first Monday of every month the Rubin Museum of Art welcomes older adults (65 and older) to receive free admission to the galleries (regularly $10).

The museum is open on Mondays from 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Senior Gallery Talks - A one-hour program, a combined theater and gallery experience, that provides visitors with an in-depth look at Himalayan art and culture.
Auspicious Stitches - A weekly art-making workshop that focuses on needlework, appliqué, and other fiber arts
Taste of RMA - A guided, themed tour through the galleries
Reservations for group visits are recommended, and private tours of the galleries can be arranged by calling the Group Visits Office at 212.620.5000 x345 or by emailing email@example.com.
Since opening its doors to the public in October 2004, the Rubin Museum has worked to provide programming, events, and resources for senior audiences. Every Wednesday the museum presents Lunch Matters, a lunchtime screening of a short documentary film focused on themes and ideas present in Himalayan art and followed by a moderated discussion.
