Adult Writing Workshops consist of multiple small-group sessions led by experienced writer-instructors from the fields of fiction and non-fiction writing. Workshop activities include individual writing exercises, group feedback, and repeat artwork visitation in the galleries to provide consistent inspiration and encouragement for novice and veteran writers alike.

Dive into the special exhibition, Francesco Clemente: Inspired by India, with Nina Goss, writer and educator, with Beth Citron, Rubin Museum Assistant Curator as guest instructor. Devoted to Indian influences in Clemente’s work, the exhibition features twenty works, including paintings from the last thirty years, and four new, large sculptures created especially for the exhibition. Close encounters with Clemente’s imagery in the galleries will inspire discussion, reflection, and writing inspired by a range of themes, including myth, portraiture, and sexuality.
No experience necessary. All materials included. Registration is required, as space is limited.
Cancellation Policy: Requests for cancellation made at least one week prior to the first class will be refunded for the full amount. Requests made within one week and prior to 48 hours before the first class will be refunded for ½ of the total amount paid. Requests made within 48 hours of the first class will not be refunded.
