A growing number of generous supporters are helping secure the future of the Rubin Museum of Art by making a planned gift to the Museum. There are many creative and flexible gift planning options that can benefit you, your loved ones, and the Museum. Planned Giving can be as simple as including a bequest provision in your will or naming the Rubin Museum as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or life insurance policy. A bequest in your will is the simplest and most popular type of planned gift. They are a critical part to ensuring the Museum’s future. Bequests can be unrestricted, allowing the Museum’s Trustees to apply the gift where the need is greatest, or can be designated for special purposes.
"I give, devise, and bequeath to The Rubin Museum of Art, located at 150 W 17th Street, New York, New York, 10011, Federal Tax ID: 22-6799567, (the sum of $_______) or (____% of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, real and personal) for its general charitable purposes."
Other Ways to Give
Gifting of retirement assets, life insurance, and real property can also be used to support the Museum. The Rubin can be named as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or life insurance policy.
Charitable Lead Trusts - Through this type of deferred gift, you may be able to transfer assets to an heir while providing income to the Museum.
